Barry founded ACS’ Los Angeles office in 1981 with 4 employees, marketing the grassroots concept of custom fabricated multi-room audio/video and control systems to the local design community of architects, interior designers and contractors. From a small kiosk in the Pacific Design Center, Barry quickly gained notoriety with his bespoke control panels populated with buttons for operating tape players, televisions and even telephones. It was a unique product that no one had seen before and it quickly caught on as a “must-have” for clients like Stephen Spielberg, David Geffen and Barbara Streisand (to name a few). Barry and his team became early adopters of autoCAD, leveraging computer-based software to provide architects with low voltage drawings detailing their custom-made components; this was long before manufactured audio video components became mainstream. Barry went on to pioneer the use of touchscreen control panels in the high roller suites at Caesar’s Palace, Paris, and several other hotels along the Las Vegas strip, building on its reputation of programming innovation for a multitude of users. Under Barry’s leadership, ACS’ Los Angeles office evolved into the preeminent benchmark for quality, reliability, innovation and service delivering the most state of the art Home Entertainment Systems in the region. ACS has maintained a reputation of trust, understanding every system must be carefully tailored to meet each client’s unique lifestyle, while maintaining state of the art technology on the backend and a simple intuitive user-interface in the front end. 

Barry spends most of his free time with his wife, 3 children, and 3 dogs. Barry enjoys playing tennis and Padel, and hiking and biking in the mountains around Aspen. 

Josh began his career in the mid 90’s installing high performance car audio systems. His interests shifted to home audio/video system while attending college in 2000 after starting a company to fulfil the growing demand for flat-screen televisions and surround sound system installations for Circuit City. Josh’s company grew quickly as these products became more affordable and more mainstream.

After receiving a degree in Marketing from Azusa Pacific University, Josh sold his company in 2004 and accepted a position at a prestigious HiFi firm in Bel Air where he learned the ropes of designing high-end luxury technology systems for LA’s elite. Over the years, Josh established himself as a trusted resource to many top design and construction professionals, which ultimately lead to joining the ACS team in 2013. To this day, Josh continues his passionate quest to utilize technology as a medium for brining enjoyment, entertainment, and convenience to his client’s homes and lifestyles. He works closely with his talented team of industry veterans to perpetuate a boutique customer service experience for clients and industry partners alike. 

Josh enjoys spending his free time traveling with his wife, playing sports with his 2 kids, and relaxing in the mountains of Mammoth Lakes.
