Addressing the challenges in the large, open Lounge required a multifaceted approach to create a versatile space with three distinct experience modes. The acoustic planning involved segmenting the lounge into five audio zones for ambient background music. A significant technical hurdle was installing a large format projection system with a 165” screen and custom lift, a task complicated by the high ceilings and substantial light fixtures. Innovative solutions were also necessary for integrating subwoofers into the curtain wall construction, resulting in a custom-designed platform housing. The in-ceiling speakers were carefully installed with angled baffles to preserve the audio integrity, and the logistics of screen delivery demanded creative coordination with the building's freight systems.

The project's success was marked by the seamless integration of professional-grade and consumer audio-visual systems within the same space. This entailed not only the precise placement and mounting of club speakers for a DJ system but also the sophisticated digital sound processing to tie the club system into the ambient audio distribution. Further, the proactive synchronization of custom lighting with the projection setup ensured a conflict-free operation, showcasing the team's ability to overcome complex challenges through innovative design and strategic planning.
