Position Summary

Audio Command Systems has been one of the top system integrators in the tri state area since 1976. Specializing in whole house audio/video distribution, lighting control, shade control and home automation, ACS's dedicated staff works diligently to provide its customers with an end product they can be proud of. Salary is based on experience.

Position Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage project from beginning to end.
  • Read and understand architectural drawings as related to AV and integration
  • Communicate project expectations to team members and clients in a timely and clear fashion
  • Meet with clients and contractors on an ongoing basis
  • Work with the Engineering and Sales team to understand the scope of work of a project
  • Estimate the resources needed to achieve project goals
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to field personnel
  • Identify and resolve issues on a project proactively
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  • Track project milestones and deliverables
  • Develop and deliver progress reports and requirements documentation
  • Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project

Professional Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Home Automation, not just audio video. Must understand lighting, shading and HVAC system integration.
  • Excellent communication skills and capable of working with and communicating with various trades
  • Able to follow up with and complete client requests
  • Able to manage client expectations
  • Able to call and coordinate project meetings
  • Ability to multitask and PM several projects simultaneously
  • Ability to maintain sound judgement at all times
  • Liaison for remote site issues/resolutions
  • Strong MS Office suite experience
  • Strong MS Office suite experience
  • Detail oriented and capable of daily-weekly follow-up on all assigned projects
  • Familiarity with electrical, network, base building, blocking requirements for project implementation
