Position Summary
Audio Command Systems has been one of the top system integrators since 1976. Specializing in whole house audio/video distribution, lighting control, shade control and home integration, ACS's dedicated staff works diligently to provide its customers with an end product they can be proud of. Salary is based on experience.
ACS Lighting Technicians and Field Managers are responsible for overseeing the lighting control systems for our clients, while working in concert with the Project Manager and our design/build partners. This includes working on various job site to install and program lighting control systems. Technicians and Filed Managers interface with high profile clients on a daily basis, thus requiring the highest level of presentation, communication and professionalism.
Professional Qualifications
- Must be able to program Lutron Lighting Systems
- Must be able to program Crestron Lighting Systems
- Programming of Vantage systems not required but preferred
- Must be able to troubleshoot and review system architecture
- Must have basic low and line voltage wiring, tagging and toning experience
- Must have basic programming knowledge
- Must have basic understanding of electrical theory
- Must be willing to travel
- Must be able to clearly communicate a document all aspects of work
- Must be able to work and give direction to other trades
- Must be able to work weekend service hours if required
- OSHA training optional but preferred
- Must be able to pass basic background check and drug test
- Must be able to track and create change orders based on field conditions

Competitive base salary based on level of experience. An excellent employee benefits package including medical, dental, 401K Plan, paid vacation and holidays, and travel re-imbursement. Employees are expected to work a 40-hour work week and will be compensated with overtime when necessary Monday through Friday, with occasional rotational On Call weekend service (paid). We offer ongoing industry training. Drug and background checks will be required.
