Lighting Technician & Manager


Position Summary

IT Technicians are responsible for implementing and maintaining all aspects of our client’s technology. This includes daily support incidents, desktop, server and network troubleshooting, hardware/software installation and upgrades, new infrastructure build-outs and relocations. Technicians interface with high profile clients on a day-to-day basis, thus requiring the highest level of presentation, communication and professionalism.


  • Project management of a prospective job—from site visit, measuring, proposal, directing equipment ordering, scheduling the installation, managing and directing an installation subcontractor and to finish with the successful client tutorial
  • Assist with timely Change Orders and final job billing
  • Accurately estimate job costs

Professional Qualifications

  • In-depth experience designing, installing, programming motorized shading systems
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings and details Comfortable with interacting and working with electricians, architects and clients
  • Computer skills
  • Basic carpentry
  • Knowledge of Crestron and Lutron shading solutions
  • Knowledge of low-voltage wire management and terminations
  • OSHA training optional but preferred

Employees are expected to work a 40-hour work week and will be compensated with overtime when necessary Monday through Friday, with occasional rotational On Call weekend service (paid).
